About us
Welcome to the home of Evergreen Tech-a-Trons, where young minds explore, create, and innovate in a dynamic environment. Our team blends education with fun to nurture a passion for learning and technology. We consist of middle and high school students who collaborate with their peers and build a foundation for future success.
Our Mission
We inspire students to explore STEM, build confidence, and become innovative problem-solvers through hands-on learning and teamwork. We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where every student can develop technical and leadership skills, embrace challenges, learn from failure, and use their knowledge to make a positive impact in the community.
Who are the Evergreen-Tech-a-Trons?
We are the Evergreen Tech-a-Trons (Team 25690), an FTC team from San Jose, California, proudly competing in our second year. Building on a standout rookie season in 2024–25 Into the Deep—where we ranked 4th at Fresno as a playoff alliance captain, qualified for Regionals as Wilcox's Winning Alliance 1st Pick, earned 2nd place for the Think Award, and reached the Gold Division playoffs at NorCal Championship—we brought that momentum into 2025–26 DECODE™ with even greater impact.
In DECODE, we dominated Santa Clara QT #1 with an undefeated 5–0–0 record, finished 3rd in quals, and capped the event as Finalist Alliance Captain while winning the Control Award. At The Play Space QT #2, we earned the Sustain Award for our commitment to sustainability. We closed the season at NorCal Regional Championship's Gold Division, showcasing our growth and competitive resilience.

Empowering Students
Free CAD Workshop: A free, hands-on community class introducing kids to 3D design for robotics, empowering participants with CAD skills to bring their engineering ideas to life.
Free Build Workshop: We hosted a free hands-on build workshop to introduce kids to robotics and STEM education.
Summer Robotics Workshops: Delivered week-long, hands-on workshops focused on FTC robotics, covering robot building, Java coding, and CAD in fun, interactive sessions. Inspired young innovators while fostering their problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills, and equipped them with the confidence and knowledge to pursue future STEM opportunities. Provided a roadmap for interested participants on how to start their own FTC team. The workshop fees also contributed to the program's financial sustainability.

We are attending the 13th edition of the Bay Area Science Festival will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This family-friendly event offers free admission and will be held at the UCSF Mission Bay Campus Koret Quad in San Francisco.

We are hosting a fundraising event in collaboration with Chipotle on November 7 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Location Chipotle, 2990 E Capitol Expy, Suite 40, San Jose, CA. Join us for a meal and support our fundraising efforts. We appreciate your support!

We are organizing the Robofest 2026 a prestigious community event on the Village Square Plaza on November 14th timing 5.30 to 8.30 pm. This is a fun event where robot demos, sponsor showcase, games, food trucks
